Freedom Celebration!

Every year when July 4th rolls around, my feelings are the same: gratitude! We are so incredibly blessed by the freedoms we enjoy in this country. When one thinks of the lack of freedom suffered by so many around the globe, ours only shines more brightly. Our country truly deserves our best efforts to not only protect and defend, but also improve. This country will only be at its best when each of us is willing to do the work that democracy demands. That means civic participation - voting, volunteering, participating in our lives in community. Be a part of it! Be civil! And let freedom ring!
